Discover Audacity and Elegance with AvolioDesign

AvolioDesign: When Denim Reinvents Itself with the Hip Neckline

Denim has always been a timeless staple, a universal piece found in every wardrobe. But in 2019, a small revolution was born in Aix-en-Provence: AvolioDesign, a French brand that is rewriting the rules with an unprecedented concept—the “hip neckline”, also known as Open Style.

The idea? Transform a classic into a statement piece of style thanks to an elegant and daring mesh pocket, strategically placed at the hip. A subtle opening that intrigues, that suggests without ever fully revealing, offering women a brand-new way to express their femininity.

A Jean That Changes Everything

Unlike the usual seasonal variations in cuts or colors, AvolioDesign goes further: here, it’s the very concept of jeans that evolves. The mesh pocket, opaque yet refined, allows a glimpse of lingerie, a delicate tattoo, a hint of skin, or even a coordinated accessory. It’s all about choice, attitude, and individuality.

There’s nothing vulgar about it—everything is about suggestion. This “hip neckline” brings a touch of sensuality that is subtle, chic, and empowering. That balance is exactly what makes the Open Style jean so unique.

A Brand Born from Vision

Behind this innovation is Ludovic Avolio, a graphic designer by trade and fashion enthusiast at heart. Watching the evolution of trends, he noticed a lack of originality. Fashion, he felt, had locked itself into repetitive cycles where brands merely repackage what has already worked, without taking real risks.

With AvolioDesign, his vision is bold: to challenge conventions and restore to fashion that sense of audacity that once sparked revolutions—just as the mini-skirt or the neckline did in their time. Moving from graphic design to textiles was both a challenge and a natural step: “From mouse to scissors, from pixels to fabric,” he explains, “I wanted to bring design to life.”

Open Style: The Freedom to Reveal Femininity

What makes Open Style so alluring is its ability to let women decide. Each woman adapts it to her mood, her look, her story:

  • revealing lingerie delicately matched with a top or accessories,

  • showcasing a tattoo rarely seen outside the beach,

  • or simply playing with the sensuality of subtle details.

The jean becomes more than clothing—it becomes a tool of self-expression, a way to tell the world who you are. Elegant yet modern, it blends glamour, boldness, and timelessness.

A Growing Collection

Launched in April 2019, the first AvolioDesign collection introduced slim-cut jeans in sizes 34 to 42, available in four shades: dark blue, black, grey, and light blue. Soon after came the Open Style shorts, perfect for summer holidays to reveal part of a swimsuit with elegance. And coming soon: the highly anticipated denim mini-skirt.

Every piece is designed in France and crafted in Portugal, with uncompromising quality. Comfortable, flattering, and durable even after washes, these jeans are built to last while staying stylish.

A Brand Looking to the Future

While the concept was originally aimed at women aged 18 to 25 who love nights out and bold trends, it quickly attracted a much wider audience. Women of all ages have embraced the originality of the design and the freedom it offers. Some have even requested new versions with more transparency, or mesh in different colors and styles.

Internationally, the reception has been just as enthusiastic: in many countries, women are even more daring in expressing their individuality. Open Style has the potential to become a truly global phenomenon.

AvolioDesign: More Than Denim, a Manifesto

Priced at €169 (with special launch offers), AvolioDesign isn’t just selling jeans—it’s offering a statement of style. These jeans tell a story: the story of the modern woman—free, confident, daring—who knows how to seduce without sacrificing elegance.

By revealing just enough, Open Style strikes the perfect balance between avant-garde fashion and timeless appeal. A detail that, without a doubt, is set to leave its mark on the history of denim.
